Inner Pain

Description

Here is another inspirational piece that I decided to do because of several reasons.
Throughout my life there has been continuous pain...
Whether it be inflicted upon me mentally, physically or spiritually,
the woman in the picture is how I feel inside each and everyday.
Someone scratching at the surface, wanting to get out.
Wanting to scream at the top of your lungs, but yet no one hears you.

I could go on about my life story, but this piece is to represent all the sufferings inside everyone.
We all have something that we shoulder, some burden to carry, or something driving us to the edge.
She is the representation of our inner selves, about how we truly feel.
Whether it's someone crying their heart out all the time, someone reaching out for help, or someone screaming;
we each have an inner self begging to come out.

Meet Keiko, my inner self. She was also depicted in this other picture I did:

I hope to do more inspirational pieces like this in the future with Keiko.
Thank you all for everything; friends and enemies alike.
You all made me who I am today.

This piece caught my eye right away. It most definitely represents something deep. I was drawn to her hands first. I enjoy the way you drew them, however I do think I would have liked to see them drawn more intensely to carry over that feeling of inner tension.

I think you've drawn the hair excellently, as well as Keiko's eyes. the color is stunning. The expression came out beautifully, as well as your over all color choice.

The one detail that completes this piece for me, is the soft highlighting on her arms. Over all, I greatly enjoy how this piece expresses more than just pain. It's also the Vulnerability. Very well done and thank you for sharing this.
